MLD or Manual Lymphatic Drainage is the hands on approach to increasing the natural flow of lymphatic fluid in the body. Stimulating the lymphatic nodes and lymph capillaries to increase efficiency and detoxify the body.

MLD is different from “Lymph Massage”, it is not necessarily only done “towards the heart”, and it is not always performed with lotion. Often MLD does not utilize lotion and focuses on stimulating the lymph nodes, vessels and capillaries to increase removal of wastes from cells and the interstitial space for improved detoxification. Drink lots of water after a session like this!
