Your Personalized Session Experience
Sessions are held in a clinical yet comforting environment where your comfort and your body’s needs are our utmost priority. You’ll be asked to wear “viewing clothes” that allow for optimal access to your fascia while respecting your comfort and privacy. This attire might be a sports bra and shorts or stretchy bike shorts, but ultimately, what matters is that you feel comfortable.
What Happens During a Session?
Each of the ten sessions in your Rolfing® journey is meticulously planned yet flexible, tailored to the unique needs of your body:
- Viewing Process: Every session begins with an assessment, allowing me to ‘see’ your body’s current structure. This critical step informs our approach, ensuring that each manipulation and movement is purposeful and tailored to you.
- Manual Fascia Manipulation: With gentle precision, I work with your body’s fascial network, applying manual pressure and techniques to release, realign, and rebalance your tissues.
- Movement Engagement: You’re an active participant in your transformation. Throughout the session, I’ll guide you through specific movements designed to heighten your awareness and integrate the changes in your fascia.
- Targeted Area Focus: While each session has a broad impact, we focus on specific areas of the body to ensure comprehensive care and attention to your entire structure.
- Re-patterning Movements: Beyond the manual work, you’ll leave each session with movement exercises. These practices are essential for reinforcing the changes made during our time together and for promoting ongoing improvement and awareness in your daily life.
